Career

Studied law at Mainz University with 1st state examination in 1991. One-year stage in an English commercial law firm in Paris. Trainee lawyer in Wiesbaden, Frankfurt/Main and Paris, among other places. 2nd state examination in 1996. Dissertation in sports law. 1997-2003, attorney-at-law and research assistant to Prof. Dr. Nirk and Prof. Dr. Dr. Norbert Gross, attorneys-at-law at the German Federal Court of Justice in Karlsruhe. Independent attorney-at-law since 2003 and founding member of the law firm Dr. Schneider & Partner Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbB in Karlsruhe in 2011. Lecturer in sports law at University of Karlsruhe. Sports Law Officer of the German Football Association (DFB). Since 2009, additional work in Zurich at Bachmann Rechtsanwälte AG.
